How to play

• Guess a UK city (name).
• See what (attributes) matched(=) and which didn't (≠).
• Refine your guess based on match clues (use deductions/eliminations).
• Repeat (until correct UK city is identified).

Match Attributes

• UK city - Your guess for the hidden UK city name.
• Population Level - Small(0-100K), Medium(100K-1M), Large(1M-10M), Largest(10M+)
• County - UK Counties
• UK Region - England regions, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland

Clues

• = means this attribute matched. It means your guess and the hidden name both have this same attribute (for example, both are on same continent). (use these for deductions).
• ≠ means this attribute didn't match. It means your guess and the hidden name don't have this same attribute (for example, they are on different continent). (use these for deductions).
• 🥚 means you didn't heed a previous clue.
• Guessed name - Clues for only 1st & 2nd letters of the guessed name are highlighted.
  A green letter means it matched the corresponding position letter in hidden name.
  A blue letter means (alphabetically) it comes before the corresponding position letter in hidden name.
  A red letter means (alphabetically ) it comes after the corresponding position letter in hidden name.
  A black letter means we didn't reveal any clues about this letter. Clues are only revealed for first 2 letters of the name.
  Note Only first two letters' match status is revealed and not of the rest of letters.
• Guessmate (as in checkmate) means you lost this game (exceeded max tries or max eggs or max time).

Unsolved?

• Use all match clues for eliminations and deductions.
• Look up UK city names online if you are out of ideas.
• Ask your family/friends (share screenshot of your game).
• Let this be a mystery and start a new game. Each new game is a new challenge.
• Try easier difficuly level or play another category.
