What is Ravel?

Ravel™ is the ultimate name guessing game that challenges your memory. You think you have a very good memory? This game could have you rethinking. Ravel will have you recall names in such a way that will put your memory to test. Start with practice level play, then customize the difficulty for more challenging play.

How do you play Ravel?

After you guess, we'll match Type 1, Type 2, #Letters and Last letter attributes of your Pokemon guess to the hidden Pokemon and reveal what matched and what didn't. We'll also give you name color clue about the hidden Pokemon. Then, using deductions, make another guess. Clues would help you match in 7 tries. 🥚 Egg means you didnt heed a clue.

What do name color clues reveal about the hidden name?

Name color clues help you get closer to the actual hidden name. After you make a guess, your guessed name is highlighted in red or blue or green.

Red is hot, go colder/lower/earlier (towards A) in alphabet

Blue is cold, go warmer/higher/later (towards Z) in alphabet

Green is good, stay with same letter/word

What Pokemon attributes are matched in Ravel?

Use the following Pokemon attributes match clues for deductions to narrow down to the hidden Pokemon name.

Type 1 - Pokemon Primary Type - Grass, Fire, Water, Normal etc.
Type 2 - Pokemon Secondary Type
#Letters - Total number of letters in the name
Last letter - Last letter of the name

What do 🥚🥚🥚 eggs mean in Ravel?

🥚 egg means you didn't heed a previous revealed clue. It could be a color clue about the name and/or a match clue about an attribute that you missed to heed. Practice level allows 10 eggs during a gameplay while Challenge level allows 7 eggs. Superpro mode doesnt allow any eggs in a gameplay.
